Of the dozen or so members who read this site , any of you shoot an M1? BTW, I like how it says "newbie" under my name now. Where in the hell did that come from? I wish I was a newbie again. Back then I still had black hair,eyes that could see past 50 yds,and pants about 4 sizes smaller. ;D

I'm one got a m1d.getting ready to start reloading 06 for it. Nice. I have a D that is built on an early gas trap receiver, had it at the club a few times to functon test and dial in the scope and its been a safe queen ever since. ;D Where did you get yours? Any papers with it?

Finally got to read your question, just a few months late. No i have no papers on my M1D. I purchased just over 25 years ago , it is a put together with us GI parts and a new barrel.Shoots great. Don.

I have a 1944 M1 National Match I bring from time to time. But for the most-part I shoot Black Rifles.
